If you've never bought a stamp for an office before, the choice usually comes down to two types: self-inking, or traditional (stamp plus separate ink pad). Both do the same basic job — leaving a consistent name, title or company mark on paper — but they suit different amounts of daily use.

Self-inking stamps

A self-inking stamp has the ink pad built into the mechanism, so it re-inks itself between impressions. You press it down, it stamps, it lifts back up ready for the next one. For a front desk or an agent stamping tenancy paperwork and cheques repeatedly through the day, this is usually the more convenient option — no separate pad to keep track of, and a cleaner, more consistent impression each time.

Traditional stamps

A traditional stamp needs a separate ink pad, which you press the stamp into before each use. It's a familiar format and can work fine for lower-volume, occasional use — but for a busy desk it usually means more mess, a pad that eventually dries out, and an extra step every time. What most Dubai real estate and property offices choose

In our experience supplying agents and property management firms across Dubai, self-inking is the more common choice for anything used daily — endorsement stamps, "Received" stamps, and general company stamps. Traditional stamps still come up occasionally, usually for larger or more decorative impressions (like an embossed company seal) where a self-inking mechanism isn't practical.
